Karen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a solid educational background and practical experience. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University Fullerton and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Karen has been practicing therapy since March 2022 and has experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and collaborating with school districts to offer various therapeutic modalities to clients aged 4-13 years.
Karen understands that each individual’s mental health journey is unique and deeply personal. She is committed to making her clients feel supported and not alone, even if her time with them is brief. Her goal is for clients to leave therapy equipped with valuable tools and skills for their ongoing journey. What Karen loves most about being a mental health clinician is the opportunity to provide a safe and accepting space for children. She values being a supportive adult in their lives, offering them a place where they can freely express their feelings and be themselves.
