Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Joyce is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a solid educational foundation and diverse training in therapeutic techniques. She earned her B.A. in Psychology Concentration from California State University, San Bernardino, and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University, Riverside. Joyce has been practicing therapy since 2021 and holds a certificate in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), as well as extensive training in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in schools, Seeking Safety, the Strengths Model, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, she has a background in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).

Joyce views therapy as a journey rather than a race, emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic process and the client-therapist relationship. Her approach acknowledges that progress in therapy involves navigating challenges and varying timelines. By fostering a strong alliance built on trust and support, Joyce helps clients navigate their unique paths to healing and growth. She values the process and celebrates each step forward; creating a supportive and empathetic environment that encourages clients work towards becoming their best selves at their own pace.
