Brittany has spent approximately 15 years in the mental health field, with over 4.5 years as a therapist. She began her career as a Group Home counselor and later transitioned into a TBS Coach role. During this time, she developed a strong passion for working with children and their families, focusing on behavior modification and teaching coping skills to manage trauma and abuse. Encouraged by her supervisor, she decided to return to school to pursue a career as a therapist.
Brittany attended Brandman University from 2018 to 2020, earning an MA in Psychology with a focus on dual licensure (LMFT/LPCC). In 2010, she also earned an MS in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University. She became fully licensed as an LMFT in April 2024 and an LPCC in June 2024. Brittany has received extensive training in TF-CBT and DBT, particularly in working with children and adolescents.
Throughout her career, Brittany has worked with individuals of all ages who have experienced severe physical and sexual abuse, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. She has also supported individuals with various mood and behavioral disorders. One of the most valuable lessons she has learned is that, while it is not possible to fix every problem, she can play a crucial role in facilitating meaningful change and growth for clients, their families, and even colleagues.
