Wendy is a Licensed Occupational Therapist with a comprehensive educational background and extensive experience in the field. She holds a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University, and an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Mount Mary University. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked across diverse settings, including mental health, rehabilitation, school-based therapy, and early intervention, helping people of all ages develop skills that enhance their sense of identity, purpose, and independence. Wendy has been an integral part of the Early Childhood team at Citrus Counseling Services since 2017. She is a certified infant massage instructor, and holds a certification as a Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist. She has extensive training in sensory integration and early childhood development.
In the Early Childhood program, Wendy provides evaluation and treatment, addressing the sensory-motor, adaptive, cognitive, and social-emotional needs of her young clients, through the occupation of play. Wendy is committed to delivering direct intervention and treatment, while also empowering caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to support their child’s ongoing development. She works closely with our interdisciplinary team and is dedicated to providing holistic care to the children and families we serve.
