Wendy Arechiga

Occupational Therapist

Wendy is a Licensed Occupational Therapist with a BS in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University and over 25 years of hands-on experience. She has worked across diverse settings and populations, helping individuals of all ages develop skills that enhance their sense of identity, purpose, and functional independence.

In the Early Childhood Program, Wendy actively identifies and facilitates activities that provide meaning and purpose—known as “occupations” in Occupational Therapy. She collaborates with clients and caregivers to pinpoint and address motor, sensory, and cognitive barriers that may hinder their progress. Wendy is committed to delivering direct intervention and treatment while also empowering caregivers with the knowledge and tools needed to support their child’s ongoing development. She leverages play to help children gain greater independence in their daily activities, driving their progress and success with each new skill learned.
